Why don't I see message notifications when I get back to my computer?



Introduction

Welcome, this is a tutorial to help you understand how to configure notification display preferences.


1 - First step, click on the profile picture. According to the image below:




1.2 - Click on the Preferences tab 

 .

1.3 - Once this is done, you will be shown the preferences options to search for notifications, as follows.

 .


1.4 - In this tab, you can set the duration of a notification, set interaction to hide notification, set desktop notification display, mobile notifications, receive e-mail notifications when mentioned in chat and also perform configuration testing of notifications.

1.5 - To test the notification settings just click on the following icon:




1.6 - In this option, the time in which the notification will be active can be defined in seconds:




1.7 - In this option it will be possible to define if the interaction with the chat is necessary or not, for the notification to disappear. This option is only valid for chrome versions higher than version 50.0. When checked On the notification will be open for the specified time in the browser, when checked Off the notification will appear on the desktop according to the set time.




1.8 - In this option it will be possible to define whether the notifications that will appear on the desktop will be for all messages, mentions to your user, or not to receive notifications on the desktop.




1.9- In this option it will be possible to set to press the mobile notifications of all messages, mentions to your user, or not to receive press the mobile notifications.




2.0 - In this option it will be possible to define to receive notifications from the platform via e-mail when the user is not connected, being possible to receive e-mail for: All messages, Mentions, or disable the receipt of E-mail when not connected. The email will need to be validated on the platform to gain access to this functionality.
